Magnesium Glycinate
Your body's exhausted. Your mind won't shut off.
Most magnesium supplements use oxide (4% absorption).
This uses glycinate (80-90% absorption).
The form matters more than the dose

Your body can't recover if it can't switch off.
Most magnesium is oxide — absorbed at just 4%. Glycinate absorbs at 80–90%. Same mineral. Completely different result.
Low magnesium is associated with muscle tension, disrupted sleep, and a nervous system stuck on high alert.
Your body isn't broken. It's just running a deficit — and most supplements aren't fixing it because they're using the wrong form.
- You train hard but recovery feels consistently off
- You're tired but wired — mind won't stop at night
- Muscle tension lingers even on rest days
- You wake up drained after a full night's sleep
- You want a non-sedative, non-dependency sleep aid

How is this different from the magnesium at the pharmacy?
Pharmacy magnesium is almost always magnesium oxide — a cheap form absorbed at roughly 4%. REFORGE uses magnesium glycinate, which absorbs at 80–90%. The difference isn't marketing. It's chemistry. You can take the same dose of oxide and glycinate and get dramatically different results because most of the oxide never makes it into your bloodstream.
Will this knock me out or make me drowsy?
No. Magnesium glycinate isn't a sedative — it doesn't force sleep. What it does is support your nervous system's natural wind-down process. Think of it like removing the barrier to sleep rather than pushing you through it. You'll feel calmer and more ready to sleep, not drugged.
When should I take it and does timing matter?
Take 3 capsules 60–90 minutes before bed. Timing matters because it gives the magnesium time to start regulating your nervous system before you actually lie down. Taking it right before bed limits its effectiveness. Too early (3+ hours before) and some of the benefit wears off before sleep onset.
How long before I feel a difference?
Most people notice easier wind-down within the first few nights. Meaningful sleep quality improvement — fewer wake-ups, less tension on waking — typically develops over 1–3 weeks of consistent use. Magnesium works cumulatively; the effects build as your tissue levels stabilise.
Can I take this with 5-HTP or other sleep supplements?
Yes — magnesium glycinate and 5-HTP work through different pathways and stack well together. Magnesium supports nervous system relaxation and muscle function. 5-HTP supports serotonin production which converts to melatonin. They're complementary, not duplicative. We sell them as the Deep Sleep Stack for this reason.
Helps me actually unwind after long teaching days.
